I had a visit to ask about some lights going off for no reason and also my trunk door shutting down on me while I was still under it more than 1x. I also asked to have the lane assist icon turned off. Lady said they would have to do a diagnostic and it would be $195. I agreed. I thought for sure they would find something wrong. 1 1/2 hours later Lady came to me with a bill and said it was fine and charged me $400. She told me they had to do 2 diagnostic tests. I certainly was not aware of the 2 tests when I signed the paperwork for service. They did not even turn off the lane assist either. The next day..... I talked with the salesman who sold me the car. He told me how to turn off the lane assist, simple button! He also discussed what probably would be happening with the lights saying that the camera's were probably dirty and the trunk coming down was probably me sticking my foot under the tail and tripping it not realizing I'm doing that. So if the sale's guy (Dan) was so helpful and knowledgeable, WHY could not the service dept help me in the same way?? They are not thinking people!!! I think $400 is quite an overcharge considering my issues were very simple and if someone could have taken the time to consider what DAN had considered I would not have forked over $400!!! EXTREAMLY DISSAPOINTED IN THE GMC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
